The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) held its annual General Assembly from 28th September to 2nd October. Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizers were forced to conduct it virtually, for the first time since the partnership was established.
45 EACP members from 18 European regions took part in intensive seminars and webinars on the future of the aerospace industry, which has been hit hard by the coronavirus epidemic.
The managing partner of S.I.C. Global Inc. joined to the 10 virtual events. Viktor Koliesnikov, who heads the certification committee in the Ukrainian Aerospace Cluster, took an active part in the congress, where he spoke about the project for the development of UAC cooperation with partners from other similar clusters located in Europe.
The working group leaders discussed innovative ideas such as supersonic business jets, test design for unmanned aerial vehicles and skills and qualifications for the “new standards” in the aviation industry for 5 days. In addition, the EACP & European Union EuroSME project held its last meeting in the framework of this assembly.
The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) is a European network created under the PRO INNO EUROPE project which encourages the exchange of experience and supports the implementation of specific projects related to cluster innovation and development policy.
