At the end of February this year, the international organization ISO has released an update to ISO 9001:2015, which includes mandatory statements on climate change. Thus, many organizations implementing quality management systems will consider the mandatory factor of climate change.
Consequently, certification bodies must now include a new aspect in the audit procedure of the organization and its context in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
At the same time, ISO is moving forward with a planned revision of the ISO 9001 standard, the new edition of which is expected to be published in 2025.
