Corruption – Is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that affects all organizations and all countries. Corruption, like rust, corrodes democratic institutions, slows economic development, and contributes to the instability of government agencies. It damages the foundations of democratic institutions by distorting elections, undermining the rule of law and creating bureaucratic apparatus, the whole purpose of which is to receive bribes. This significantly slows down economic development, hindering direct foreign investment, driving enterprises into the traps of corruption’s fraud and schemes.
October 31st, 2003 The UN General Assembly adopted the Convention against Corruption (resolution 58/4). December 9, 2003 at the High Representation Conference in Mexico. This day was declared the international fight against corruption day, in order to raise awareness of the problem and remind of the Convention’s role in combating it and its prevention.
Unfortunately, corruption affects all countries, regions and communities. This may mean that people can live in freedom, health, life and the future. No one is safe from this crime. But everyone can act to fight corruption.
The international non-governmental organization ISO, for its part, has contributed to the organization of the anti-corruption fight in the world by adopting the international standard ISO 37001: 2016 “Anti-corruption management system. Requirements and recommendations for use. ” in 2016

Businesses around the world continue to implement the anti-bribery systems in accordance with its requirements.
