Aposematism is a mechanism that can be used by some animals to scare away predators (for example, through loud sounds or bright colors). The ISEA Standard 107-2020 High Visibility Protective Clothing uses a similar principle. This standard is voluntary and can be applied to all types of industrial clothing with the exception of fire fighting equipment.
